About This Blog
This blog contains the thoughts and observations of a twenty-something former catholic who took a detour through agnosticism only to end up a reformed evangelical Christian who now attends a presbyterian church. (Did you follow all that?) While the content of this blog will not solely, or even mostly, revolve around Christianity, my faith is pretty fundamental to where I am coming from, so might as well get it out there from the start.
To bring home the chedda, I work for a not-for-profit organization that advocates for land and water conservation.
In my REAL life, my favorite activities include reading, cooking, knitting, pretending (and failing) to be a writer, rugged outdoorsy-ness, watching PBS, The Office and LOST, checking Facebook, Etsy and Twitter relentlessly, and making lists and plans that usually come to nothing. I currently reside within the city limits of my beloved St. Louis, fulfilling a life-long ambition to get out of urban sprawl.
I guess this is what I would look like if I were anime?

I am happily married to a massively talented professional stage actor and all around wonderful man. Update: My husband is currently attending seminary, which means I could conceivably be a pastor's wife someday. *faint* We may be the only seminary couple for whom life in the ministry will be a step up in income. Double Update: I am now also attending said seminary, pursing an MA in Relgion and Culture. Because I enjoy sleeplessness and living in amessy home.
The title for this blog comes from one of my favorite books of the Bible, Ecclesiastes. You should read it. It's all angsty and stuff.
Topics for discussion will include all manner of diverse interests including religion, politics and current affairs, life issues, theatre, music, films, books, the environment, the city of St. Louis, food & recipes, arts & crafts, and whatever I happen to hear on NPR that day.
Or in other words, something along these lines:
